MILLION DOLLAR LAKE VIEWS (2016)

Million Dollar Lake Views looks at once into the windows of Toronto's history to a time when we made most of the things we needed to the present day desire for 'the view' from the windows of glass and steel condo towers that fill Toronto's skyline.
The ever increasing demand for housing and density in Toronto has resulted in the demolition of many old buildings that provided important links to our history as a manufacturing city. When we lose old buildings we lose not only architectural diversity and the materials and craftsmanship from an earlier era, but also places for start-up businesses to enter the marketplace with the more affordable rents that these older buildings could have provided.
