Hurricanes, tornadoes, floods and wildfires are all increasing in intensity and frequency as a consequence of climate change. People whose homes are in the path of these unpredictable superstorms will increasingly have little choice but to uproot their families and relocate. But many others will have no available options. Their homes could become uninsurable. They will be at the mercy of the next big weather event. Scientists tried to warn us this was coming but we were apathetic.
